In addition to Watchmen, Alan Moore also created V for Vendetta, Batman: The Killing Joke, From Hell, Miracleman, and Swamp Thing. Since the 1980s, he has been regarded as one of the greatest innovators in the comic genre and has influenced an entire generation of comic creators. Dave Gibbons began working as a comic artist in 1973. Many of his contributions appeared in the British magazine 2000 AD, where he created well-known strips such as Harlem Heroes, Dan Dare, and Rogue Trooper. His works also include Dr. Who; in 1982, he began his collaboration with DC Comics. Since then, he has drawn and written for DC's most important characters, including Superman and Batman.
