Two strokes of fate significantly shake Trigo's throne. After Trigo is severely injured in battle, the Great Council of the Empire doubts his ability to continue leading the Empire. Therefore, the Emperor must undergo five challenging trials. Additionally, high-ranking military officials attempt to shift the balance of power in their favor and plan a coup. Once again, Trigo must prove that he is rightfully the Emperor of Trigan. Thousands of years ago, a confederation of nomadic tribes rose from the dust of the desert on the planet Elekton and grew into an advanced and highly developed civilization under the leadership of a single visionary named Trigo. In honor of their leader, this young nation named itself Trigan. And this is their story.
