It is not a misfortune to be born here. However, it is also not a particular blessing. This novel tells the story of an imaginative teenager who suffers from the harsh confines of the Catholic village world of the 1970s and 1980s and struggles against an unapproachable adult world that has forgotten words in its silence. Increasingly, the boy, who seeks closeness and affection, retreats into his world of fantasy and becomes an outsider in the village. When he accidentally discovers that he has an uncle who disappeared without a trace decades ago, he is convinced that he has found his one true relative. However, in his investigations, he once again runs into a wall of silence.
