What does a modern and rational therapy for multiple sclerosis (MS) look like? In view of the dynamic development of therapy and the availability of different drugs for the immunotherapy of MS, it is increasingly difficult to maintain an overview and adequately advise patients on their way through the disease. This volume supports clinicians in the management of MS patients. Case studies are used to outline typical clinical issues, explain strategies and provide relevant background information that can pave the way for shared therapeutic decision-making. In addition to modern immunotherapies, symptomatic, non-pharmacological and complementary therapy concepts are presented.
