However, unlike other Office programs, Access cannot be learned just by trial and error. It is important to plan in advance what data you want to manage with Access and how the data model of your database should look. A basic understanding of the two programming languages SQL (Structured Query Language) and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) is also helpful. With just a few commands and small programs, you can work much more effectively with your database.
