With the workbook 'Reading Strategies', children thoroughly and sustainably train their reading skills. The workbook can be used both with the Jo-Jo reading book and independently.

What characterizes the Jo-Jo workbook 'Reading Strategies': Successfully training reading competence in four areas: reading exercises, reading strategies, text types, and reading methods.

• The following is practiced in the reading exercises: recognizing common words, using familiar word parts, expanding visual span, forming hypotheses, and reading accurately.
• These reading strategies are explained and practiced: using headings and pictures, repeated reading, clarifying unknown words, and asking W-questions about texts.
• In the text types section, children learn to distinguish between narrative and informational texts.
• In the new area of reading methods, important reading methods are introduced and practiced: partner reading, the dice method, and reading theater.

Working independently: Through level-differentiated exercises (three levels) and recurring task formats with solution examples, each child can work independently and improve their reading skills. Usable independently of the teaching material: The workbook can be used both with the Jo-Jo reading book and independently. Ideal for additional reading support.
