Product Information "HeXXen 1733: Haunting Places" The volume "Haunting Places" includes about 19 eerie adventure locations. The settings are generic, meaning they are not specific and real places in the world, but rather locations that the HeXXen master can freely incorporate into their adventures and campaigns. The sites include an abandoned lighthouse, a stormy North Sea island, a dueling ground at the Blood Beech, a creepy orphanage, a frozen pond, an animated mirror hall, a devastated village, a bleeding heath, and many other spooky places. Haunting Places is suitable for all HeXXen masters who prefer a somewhat open game without having to come up with something completely new. The described locations can be transformed into an adventure with relatively little effort. Each location comes with a background that sheds light on the cruel or traumatic past of this place or its inhabitants. This background also serves as the basis for an adventure idea that follows later in the text. The middle section of each chapter describes the location as a whole as well as in the form of individual sub-locations. Depending on the type of place, there are also optional rules such as environmental effects that influence the rules and exploration of the location. A list of rumors (true or false) and some new monster descriptions round out the chapters. At the end, the connection to real historical places is, of course, included - but that is already familiar from HeXXen 1733. Haunting Places comes in the familiar faux leather look of the second edition of HeXXen 1733. The hardcover book consists of 128 pages.
