To assist with this, there is now this compact formula collection that clearly compiles the most important formulas and testing procedures in statistics. As concise as possible, yet as comprehensive as necessary: it includes prerequisites for applying a test, information on sample sizes, and confidence intervals. Whether descriptive or inferential statistics - the initial formulas and statistical tests (t-test, F-test, etc.) may still be understandable and easy to derive. However, one cannot remember all formulas - and one does not have to. The clear structure and compilation of all necessary information for a formula or a test allow for quick and straightforward reference.
