Flunkerfisch is small, but his imagination is big: Every day he tells a different incredible story why he comes to school too late. But once his fantasy even saves his life, because even under water life is full of dangers.
Flori Flunkerfisch, that's his name, is always late for school every day. He knows about great things that happened to him on the way, such as riding a seahorse, diving with dolphins or being trapped in a treasure chest. Every day he tells a new story, and it almost happened to him when he was so dreaming that he didn't notice the fishing net. But then it's just their own stories that save Flunkerfisch and bring it home again. Of course his friend Peter Peterfisch has always known how good these stories are!
