Ein unvergänglicher Sommer

A snowstorm in Brooklyn, and Richard dismisses the car accident as a trivial episode. But hardly has the reclusive professor returned home when the driver of the other car stands at his door. Evelyn is completely distraught: there’s a corpse in her trunk. She can’t go to the police, as the timid Guatemalan nanny is in the country illegally. Richard turns to Lucía, his daring Chilean roommate who also works at the university, for help. Lucía urges decisive action: the body must disappear. In a rush, they set off into the northern woods on a journey that will profoundly change all three of them. And on the fringes of this adventure, something develops between Richard and Lucía that neither of them had dared to dream of. "It is not gravity that keeps our universe in balance, but love.".
