Elsa and Robert Walch's inn is an institution. It's summer, and tourists flock from all over to enjoy Robert's delicious country cooking amid peaceful countryside. While his sister Elsa takes care of the guests, Robert prefers to spend his time at the stove and in his magnificent vegetable garden. He tells stories to the carrots, sings lullabies to his chickens, and concocts recipes full of nostalgia under the starry sky. Until one day, the spirited Maggie arrives from England. And asks him to dance. At first on the dance floor. But will Robert dare to explore real life with her, too?
