Gift edition in a small format, printed cloth binding with a ribbon bookmark. A famous Italian tenor is shot on stage during a performance of Puccini's "Tosca." The children of the perpetrator, twins Patrice and Patricia, travel to Berlin to understand how this act could have happened. Layer by layer, they uncover the motives that drove their father, a legendary piano tuner and unsuccessful opera composer, to take up arms. Years earlier, they had fled to different hemispheres to escape their incestuous love. Their reunion and their father's initially incomprehensible act lead them to break their silence and write down how they experienced their former intimacy. A liberating process of remembering begins.
