Das rote Adressbuch

Doris grows up in modest circumstances in 1920s Stockholm. When she turns ten, her father gives her a special gift: a red address book in which she is to immortalize all the people who mean something to her. Decades later, Doris still treasures the little book like a treasure. One day, she decides to write down her story based on the entries. Thus, she travels back through her eventful life, across oceans and continents, from the glamorous Paris of the 1930s to New York and England - back to Sweden and to the man she once lost but could never forget.
