The film GLÜCK GEHABT by Peter Payer (with Philipp Hochmair as Artur) based on the novel "Das Polykrates-Syndrom" by Antonio Fian will be released as a black-humored thriller in December 2019. The paperback edition of the successful novel is now being published to mark the occasion. Artur is in his late 30s. He is a trained teacher, but hires himself out as a tutor and works in a copy store. He has a happy marriage with Rita, a teacher on the verge of becoming a school principal. The leisureliness of Artur's life comes to an abrupt end when the beautiful young Alice bursts into the copy store and thus into Artur's life. What begins as a comedic love triangle escalates into a blood-soaked thriller that has a few surprises in store. "Das Polykrates-Syndrom" was longlisted for the German Book Prize in 2014 and was filmed in 2019 under the title GLÜCK GEHABT.
