SRF bi de Lüt – Landfrauenküche

It has long been one of the most popular series on Swiss television and is an integral part of the autumn program – the Landfrauenküche from SRF bi de Lüt. Since 2007, it has introduced seven rural women from various regions of Switzerland each year, providing insight into their diverse, often busy daily lives with home, farm, and family, while showcasing their cooking. Each of them prepares a three-course menu consisting of an appetizer, main dish, and dessert as part of a cooking competition, which is then tasted and evaluated by the other participants. This book contains the portraits and recipes of the twenty-one rural women featured in the shows from 2016 to 2018. It offers a varied picture of rural Switzerland and includes 63 recipes that blend tradition with modernity, while always remaining rooted in the local and regional. Hearty, clear, and authentic.
