Anthropologie und Ethik

The connection between anthropology as the philosophical reflection on human beings and ethics as the thorough reflection on what human beings should do is close and multifaceted. The authors in this volume address this topic from different disciplinary perspectives and discuss the following questions: Are moral norms based on human nature or do they apply independently of it? Do ethics take human weaknesses into account, or do the requirements of morality apply absolutely? When humans change, for example through evolution or biotechnological enhancement, do the requirements of morality also change?
