I have been using this product for about 2 weeks. Now it stopped running yesterday due to the low water level, as usual. Is it normal that the fountain already stops when the water is only about 1.5 cm below the rim? Anyway, I have filled up to the rim again. But the pump does not start running again, as usual. I have now decalcified it, but that hasn't helped either. Is it possible that it's the filter? It shouldn't be through after 2 weeks, should it? Or have I overlooked something else?
Hello. i can only tell you that if the pump is constantly operated with too little water or no longer sucks in water at all, this can lead to damage to the pump. this may be the case here. i also believe that the instructions for all pumps state that you must be careful that the pump does not run dry. and yes, a certain water level is necessary, depending on where exactly the point is located on the pump that sucks in the water.
