How long does the wet food stay cool? How often do I need to change the ice packs?
A few hours, no more. Wet food also tends to dry out quickly. Personally, I use it as a kibble dispenser for short absences (one or two nights).
The device is made of plastic without insulation. I can't give you a time. But it probably only takes a few hours for the ice packs to defrost.
