Keeping rabbits, hares and guinea pigs in a species-appropriate environment requires plenty of space. In addition to daily exercise, these animals also need a spacious retreat where they are protected from predators and the elements. The spruce rabbit hutch has two levels and can be used in addition to a large free-range enclosure to keep small animals. The upper level is a hutch that is raised so that the free run extends over the entire floor area. The animals reach the stable via a non-slip ramp.

The free-range area is equipped with a large door at the front, making it easy to clean the outside area as well as to connect to a large exercise area. The hutch itself also has a door to ensure easy cleaning and handling. The floor of the hutch is a practical manure tray that can simply be pulled out and easily cleaned. The bitumen-coated roof provides protection against the wet and cold. The walls and ceiling of the free-range area are fitted with a coarse-meshed wire and provide plenty of light. The rabbit hutch can be easily assembled using a screwdriver in accordance with the operating instructions.

Note: Dwarf rabbits, for example, are social animals that are kept in groups of at least three. This group needs at least 6 square metres of floor space plus a separate sleeping house per animal as a shelter.
