Tropical Discus Gran Wild

Discus Gran Wild is a nutrient-rich food in the form of slowly sinking granules, enhanced with algae, krill, and fruits. It is designed for the daily feeding of wild discus fish and other demanding fish species from the wild.

Thanks to their fine texture, the granules quickly soften in water and are eagerly consumed by wild-caught fish. They contain the following algae: Spirulina, Chlorella, as well as Ascophyllum nodosum and Laminaria digitata, which are also known as kelp or seaweed. Unsaturated fatty acids, protein (rich in essential amino acids), and vitamins from Spirulina and Chlorella, along with macronutrients and trace elements from kelp (including iodine, chromium, selenium, and iron), ensure excellent condition, intense growth, and vitality for the fish.

The high proportion of plant-based ingredients, including algae and fruits, resembles the diet of wild discus fish in their natural habitat. By regularly feeding with Discus Gran Wild, you provide your fish with a high dose of chlorophyll, a green pigment from Spirulina and Chlorella, which are concentrated sources of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll inhibits the development of unwanted bacteria in the digestive tract, thus preventing infections. Together with zeolite, it promotes the excretion of toxins. Active substances from garlic and Spirulina strengthen the fish's immune system, helping them combat pathogens. Carotenoids, among others from krill and red bell pepper, as well as the addition of astaxanthin, maintain the natural coloration of the fish and prevent fading. Due to its strengthening properties, this food is recommended for fish that are in a quarantine or recovery phase, as well as for fish that are acclimating to new living conditions.
