For the simple determination of ammonium/ammonia concentration in freshwater and seawater. Ammonium and ammonia primarily originate from fish excretions. They can convert into each other depending on the pH level. While ammonium is largely harmless, ammonia is toxic to fish.

The sera NH4/NH3 test determines the total concentration of both (the accompanying table can be used to find the actual ammonia content based on the pH value).

In case of acute danger, sera toxivec (freshwater) or sera pond toxivec (pond) provides relief. To counteract long-term accumulation of these substances, sera bio nitrivec (freshwater), sera marin bio reefclear (seawater), or sera pond bio nitrivec (pond) actively work against it.

Sufficient for approximately 60 measurements.
