The hemp rodent rug from pemmiproducts is an environmentally friendly and comfortable floor covering option for rodents and small animals. This rug measures 0.6 x 100 metres and can be easily cut to fit different cage sizes. It is made from 100% organically grown plant hemp fibres without the use of chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, fungicides or artificial fertilisers. The carpet is fully digestible and therefore harmless to animals if nibbled on. The natural texture protects sensitive animal paws, especially those of bare-footed animals such as guinea pigs, and provides a soft, dry and warm surface to lie on. It also has an anti-mite effect and is therefore suitable for allergy sufferers. Due to its ability to absorb odours and large amounts of moisture, it is particularly hygienic. After use, the carpet can be composted, which emphasises the ecological sustainability of the product.
