The Juwel Bioflow filter system is characterized by its particularly large filter volume. This provides space for excellent mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration, resulting in long filter lifetimes and extended maintenance intervals. The design of the filter offers easy access to the pump and heater, and the use of special filter baskets ensures simple removal and cleaning of the filter media. The unique dual flow principle of the Juwel Bioflow filter system allows for different flow rates within the filter, significantly contributing to the exceptionally high filtration performance of the Bioflow system. In particular, a relatively fast flow rate in the upper filter area is advantageous for mechanical and chemical filtration. Conversely, a slower flow rate in the lower part of the filter promotes optimal development of anaerobic bacteria, which are essential for biological filtration.
