At night, an air pump for the aquarium is beneficial, as plants do not produce oxygen without light. In aquariums with sparse planting, the pump ensures necessary water circulation. In densely planted aquariums, the air pump supplies the aquarium with oxygen at night, as the oxygen levels can drop problematically due to the many plants. During illnesses, the air pump increases the oxygen content in the water, which is necessary for many medications. Installation is simple: connect the hose to the air pump, cut the air hose, and install the check valve. Cut the remaining hose to the desired length. Connect one end with the check valve and the other end with an air stone. The pump should be mounted on a dry wall near the aquarium if possible. Hooks for hanging are included.
