JBL Aquaristik und Terraristik Denitrol

It is often discussed whether fish should be introduced one day after setting up a new aquarium. Microbiologists have found that bacteria multiply very slowly in a new aquarium if there is no water pollution (food for the bacteria). However, if fish are introduced the next day without a bacterial starter, ammonium/ammonia problems occur because bacteria initially multiply too slowly and cannot keep pace with the increase in pollutants. When using JBL Denitrol (1 hour after adding JBL Biotopol), high amounts of bacteria are added. When the first fish are introduced the next day, these bacteria are also fed and begin to multiply. In addition, JBL Denitrol is added for the first 10 days to ensure that there are always enough bacteria present and that neither ammonium/ammonia nor nitrite become a problem.
