At night, an air pump for the aquarium is beneficial, as plants do not produce oxygen without light. In aquariums with sparse planting, the pump ensures necessary water circulation. In aquariums with dense planting, the air pump supplies the aquarium with oxygen at night, as the oxygen levels can drop significantly due to the many plants. During illnesses, the air pump increases the oxygen content in the water, which is necessary for many medications. Installation is simple: connect the pump to the air hose. Cut the air hose and install the check valve. Cut the remaining hose to the desired length. Connect one end to the check valve and the other end to the air stone. Mount the pump preferably on a dry wall near the aquarium. Hooks for hanging are included.
