At night, an air pump for the aquarium is beneficial because plants do not produce oxygen without light. In aquariums with sparse planting, the pump ensures necessary water circulation. In aquariums with dense planting, the air pump supplies the aquarium with oxygen at night, as the high number of plants can lead to problematic drops in oxygen levels. During illnesses, the air pump increases the oxygen content in the water, which is necessary for many medications. Installation is straightforward: connect the hose to the air pump, cut the air hose, and install the check valve. Trim the remaining hose to the desired length. Connect one end with the check valve and the other end with the air stone. The pump should be mounted on a dry wall near the aquarium. Hooks for hanging are included.
