The coop with an integrated run provides space for about five chickens. For resting and sleeping, the chickens have two perch bars, each 52 cm long, which offer a safe and quiet place during their rest period. Below the perches is a 66 x 48 cm pull-out drawer with a metal bottom, allowing for quick and easy cleaning of the coop. The metal coating of the drawer has the advantage over a drawer with a plywood bottom that cleaning is easier and the drawer is more durable.

A slider allows you to easily and quickly open or close the connecting opening from the main house to the run. The nesting area is located inside the main house. In a furnished chicken coop, it is advisable to place some plaster eggs in the nest so that the chickens recognize it as a laying spot for their eggs. The roof of the main house can be fully opened. A metal hinge with a lock keeps the roof open, allowing you to easily access all areas of the main house.

On the back of the chicken coop, there are two openings with a diameter of 2.5 cm in the main house for ventilation. The hinges for opening and closing the doors are particularly beautiful and of high quality. To ensure your chickens feel comfortable, place the coop in a sheltered location. Due to heat buildup, the coop should not be exposed to full sunlight. Also, protect the chickens' dwelling from constant moisture. You can use concrete slabs as a base to protect the coop from moisture from below and to make it more difficult for martens and foxes to access.
