According to animal welfare regulations, this rodent home is suitable for one golden hamster or a maximum of seven mice. Since mice live in large family groups or colonies in the wild, they should be kept in groups of at least two for proper care. These specifications represent the legally required minimum size and are by no means an ideal living condition for the animals. Therefore, we recommend the largest possible habitat for a more animal-friendly environment. Please also ensure that the animals have multiple retreat options, ideally with enough space for all animals together. Additionally, there should be several opportunities for the animals to engage in activities.
