The Exo Terra substrate for desert terrariums is natural desert sand without added dyes or chemicals. The sand has been sifted to remove impurities and achieve a uniform grain size. This substrate is an excellent heat conductor and is ideal for egg-laying. The sand comes in various colors to stimulate your pet's natural digging and burrowing behavior.
