The filter mat is considered exhausted when the water flow through the filter noticeably decreases. It then needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Additionally, the filter mat set includes white filter fleece. This specially structured filter fleece performs the task of tailored filtration. It is evenly penetrated by water and mechanically retains both coarse and fine particle residues. With its long lifespan, it promotes good bacterial colonization, ensuring excellent biological filtration as well. The filter fleece is exhausted when the water flow through the filter noticeably decreases, and it must then be replaced.
