Adsorptive Filtration through Carbon Fleece
For adsorptive filtration, which removes chemical pollutants such as chlorine and pharmaceutical residues, EHEIM offers special activated carbon fleeces and mats as inserts in the filter.
Adsorptive filtration is typically only necessary during the initial phase of the aquarium or after the use of medications. The filter media should only be used for a limited period of about 4 weeks and then removed or replaced.
