With Excital, cyanobacteria can be removed without the use of antibiotics or compounds containing copper.

Cyanobacteria, also known as red smear algae, often appear when the temperature of the water has risen, sometimes in connection with a high organic load in the water or rotting in the bottom material.

Excital consistently combats cyanobacteria. It is easy and safe to use and is harmless to fish or corals. If the infestation is large, it is advisable to first remove as much cyanobacteria as possible manually and then immediately administer Excital. If necessary, the product can be given for several days in a row, even in double dose.

  • Application: 10 ml per 40 litres of aquarium water daily for 5 days.
