The hens can step onto the PVC platform to automatically open the flap, allowing them to access the feed in an ergonomic position. When the hens step down from the PVC platform, the flap closes cleanly. This prevents pests like mice or wild birds from accessing the feed, protecting your chickens. Pests can transmit diseases to your chickens. The feeder is durable, safe, of high quality, and features a silent mechanism, allowing the chickens to eat without any stress. The opening resistance can be easily adjusted from the outside at three settings to suit the specific bird species. Additionally, you can set the feeder to open only when a weight of 250, 500, or 750 grams is detected.
