Hello, We'd like to put this filter on the glass barrier of our balcony (which is exposed to the elements). Has anyone tested it? Thank you in advance.

This film is held in place by static electricity and is applied to the surface of the glass with distilled water. After around 14 days, the water has evaporated and the film is held in place by static electricity alone. If water is added, you can imagine the film coming off. At least that's what I can see inside, on the edges of the glass, where condensation forms on particularly cold nights, because the spacer between the multiple glazing is made of aluminium and forms a thermal bridge.
If such a film with an adhesive layer is available, it's the first choice. We installed one in the bathroom at the shower. Unbreakable... It could certainly be used outside.

This film holds by static charge and is applied to the glass surface with distilled water. After approx. 14 days, the water has evaporated and it is only held in place by the static charge. If water is added, you can imagine that the film will peel off. At least I can observe it on the inside at the edge, where condensation forms on the edges of the window glass on particularly cold nights, as the spacer between the multiple glazing is made of aluminium and forms a cold bridge.
If such a film with an adhesive layer is available, this is the first choice. We have installed something like this in the bathroom in the shower area. Unbreakable... That would certainly also be something for outside.
