Pure Siesta Rise
Pure Siesta Rise
Has anyone also experienced that the alarm clock "crashes", "freezes", the clock stops but lights up and nothing works (was not woken up), rsp. the second time snooze it hung up.
Yes, I have had it too, once so far. (Since January 2016)
The previous model crashed every 2 months. I have exchanged the device twice at Digitec without success!
I also called the Pure hotline and the only answer was that they didn't know about this problem!
I also spoke to the Swiss general importer for Pure. They were not willing to test the unit!
The new unit seems to have the same problems.
Great answer! There definitely seems to be a bug in the software or even in the hardware design. If the new device has this too -> HANDS AWAY! HANDS OFF!!! If I have to go on a business trip, I want to be woken up properly - I can't afford to miss the plane because of Pure Siesta!
I also do not understand why Digitec does not intervene with the general importer. The Pure Siesta range, old or new, is therefore electronic waste for me!
When I switched on the unit yesterday morning, it did a new full scan and then all the saved channels were deleted.
It has happened to us twice (in 2 years) that the clock was adjusted in the morning and we were woken up too late as a result.
I had this problem more often with a previous model. Not yet with this one.
Grin, where have I seen that before? Ah yes, I once had a model like that at home, but NOT from Galaxus or Digitec. I think this brand is a waste of money. After 7 months the first model was through. It hung up and nothing worked. 30 days repair at the funny manufacturer, then there was a new one. It lived for 4 months, then it was also broken. Conclusion: I got rid of it and bought something usable. The new model from a well-known manufacturer has now been in service for over three years without complaint. Pure, that's pure crap.
This is also the case with a predecessor model. Every 2-3 months, sometimes sooner, the alarm clock crashes and nothing works. Restart and everything works again. I'm pretty sure it's a firmware problem. But Pure doesn't seem to understand that.
Yes, I have the same problem. I contacted Pure who proposed a factory reset, which I did. But the bug happened again 1 month later. Pure has recognised the fault and is offering to exchange it. Hopefully the new Siesta will be reliable!
Never had this or other problems. The alarm clock works perfectly until now.
