Question about Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus

For an Ambilight effect, you need the "Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box". This box is plugged between the TV and the Apple Box. However, the "Philips Hue Play Gradient Lightstrip" is better suited for the TV and not the base.

This has nothing to do with a TV, its just a ligh strip you can integrate in your Hue system
