Yankee Candle. Mike Kittredge was sitting at home at the kitchen table on a cold December evening. Christmas was approaching, and he had no money to buy his mother a great gift. He decided to make a unique candle. A neighbor saw the candle and wanted it immediately. He sold it and bought new materials to make more candles. One for his mother and one for sale. Thus, the wonderful brand Yankee Candle was born. Since 1969, it has been sharing its passion for fragrances with the world.
