Violan Table set

For the first time, Metz Textil & Design is breaking with its own tradition - but the company from Aschau am Inn is doing so for a good innovative reason and with the best green conscience: instead of the usual, genuine wool felt, Metz Textil & Design is using "Violan", a purely plant-based felt developed over years of tinkering, for this table decoration. The material feels just as high-quality as soft merino wool felt, but is made from plant residues and wood fibres. Cosy and soft to the touch, extra absorbent, allergen-free, biodegradable and absolutely non-toxic, so that small children can put the felt in their mouths without hesitation! What's more, each placemat and optional table runner can be washed at 30 °C with a mild detergent without a spin cycle - even real wool felt fans can't ask for more!
