It is made from a mouth-blown glass bottle featuring a highly graphic pattern achieved through the Murrine technique. The OCCHI Vase by Tobia Scarpa for Venini is a handcrafted glass vase using the Murrine technique. It is available in a coral/crystal finish. For over a century, the history and passion of Venini's finest glassmakers and artists have transformed precious quartz sand into glass lava, which is then mouth-blown and processed, all in a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary art and design.

Tobia Scarpa Design for the OCCHI Vase

The OCCHI Vase consists of glass lenses with very fine colored fringes at the edges, creating many soft and rounded volumes. It captures attention with its bright red color and unique pattern. The collection was designed by the renowned Italian designer Tobia Scarpa, who has received numerous awards and honors over the years. Some of his works are displayed in the world's most important museums.
