Designer Fabio Novembre is behind Venini's playful glass creations "Happy Pills." Many considered the Italian designer to be an eccentric. Mouth-blown Venini glassware is more of a work of art but can also be used as vases. The shape and color resemble the "happy pills" of the pharmaceutical industry. Fabio Novembre winked and wanted to express that the playful design could have the same effect as a real pill. The result is a vibrant color combination of five different colors of Murano glass. The chemical formula for each happiness hormone is subtly engraved on each figurine.
