Bolle 503.00 Vase by Venini

This mouth-blown Bolle vase was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Venini in 1966 and features a two-toned bottle silhouette crafted by hand using the Incalmo technique. Characterized by a gold-yellow middle band, it combines a bright red top with a hunter green bottom while the glass remains hot, creating a strong visual impact. The vase was developed for Tapio Wirkkala and your living space. Talpa and Adriatico, the two different color zones, are physically combined using Incalmo technology, which thermally couples the two blown forms. Blown vases made of Murano glass are handcrafted using the Incalmo technique, where two blown forms merge into a single composite piece. The glass and color landscape - "Bolle" ("Bubbles") transforms air into matter in two different color scales. Now and forever, the vase becomes Tapio Wirkkala's bottle.
