The Bolle vase in gray/blue is part of Venini's distinctive collection, designed by Tapio Wirkkala in 1966. Inspired by the landscape, the colors embody the natural elements transformed into glass. This color scheme allows for multiple Bolle bottles to be displayed together. Made from mouth-blown glass using the Incalmo technique, it combines the volume of two thermal glass pieces to create a two-tone effect. Tapio Wirkkala separates the two color areas, physically connects them using the Incalmo technique, and joins the two blown shapes through heat.

The Venini "Bolle" bottle was designed by Tapio Wirkkala for Venini. This is an ancient glass-making technique that produces objects made from different parts that are fused together after heating. The name was given in the first half of the twentieth century by the Venini factory in Murano, Venice. It describes the effect achieved. In short, two or more elements of different colors are melted into a single piece. A glass artist blows two separate glass bubbles, opens them, and merges them into a single bubble.
