The AutoFoam skin care dispenser is now powered by the rechargeable LumeCel system, which does not require alkaline batteries. AutoFoam generates its own energy from artificial or natural indoor light. This means the dispenser is ready for immediate use, and there is no maintenance required. Consequently, there are also no disposal costs.

Converting your AutoFoam system to use the new LumeCel technology is possible by removing the existing front AutoFoam cover and batteries, and replacing them with a new LumeCel retrofit cover and rechargeable LumeCel energy cells.

The retrofit cover includes a new AutoFoam cover with solar cells, a new bag holder, a new LUX detector, and a rechargeable LumeCel energy cell. The LUX detector measures the light present in the washroom and indicates whether there is enough light energy to store in the rechargeable energy cells that power the device.
