The quartz tube must not be touched with bare hands. Oils from the skin can adversely affect the quartz tube during operation and shorten the lamp's lifespan. Additionally, ensure that the lamp is correctly mounted in its lamp holder. Ruby infrared lamps reduce eye glare and are available in lengths from 118 to 350 mm. These lamps are simple, effective, reliable, and economical to operate. They are used for process drying applications as well as for space heating in buildings and protected outdoor areas. This includes restaurants, cafés, terraces, factories, gyms, stadiums, churches, storage areas, garages, etc. The lamps are dimmable, allowing the output power to be modulated as temperature control via a suitable power controller. Made from doped quartz with a diameter of 10 mm. Provides almost instant radiant heat upon switching on. Low glare, economical operation, suitable for universal mounting orientations.
