The lid of the laundry basket is very easy to attach and remove. As a traditional Swiss company, Rotho Kunststoff AG has been manufacturing products made from sustainable plastic for over 125 years. Sustainability plays a major role for Rotho Kunststoff AG. As a manufacturer of plastic products, we are aware of our responsibility for sustainable production and disposal. We therefore refrain from using harmful additives such as PVC and BPA in all products and packaging. We also ensure that all products are 100% recyclable. Place of manufacture: Switzerland. The product was produced in Switzerland and/or consists of raw materials that were obtained in Switzerland. The Swiss value share of the manufacturing costs is at least 60 %. BPA-free. Many product manufacturers now refrain from using bisphenol A, or BPA for short. In this context, BPA-free means that the chemical substance bisphenol A has been completely eliminated from specially labelled products and items. BPA is used in the production of the plastic polycarbonate and epoxy paints. The problem with bisphenol A is that it dissolves from plastics when heated and can thus enter the human organism.
