Rosenthal Triu silver

The Triu vases, made of three slender U-shaped arms, initially appear to be intertwined metal tubes. In reality, these artfully arranged objects, available in gold, silver, copper, and clear, add a brilliant touch thanks to robust borosilicate glass and fine titanium coating.

Jan Padrnos, the Czech designer, initially explored the fields of mechanical engineering and architecture before turning to product design. In 2000, he founded the company Blackbox s.r.o. as an exclusive manufacturer for his designs, which range from furniture design to glass gifts and interior projects. His designs are represented in various institutions, including the Museum of Art and Design in Prague, the collections of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, and the National Technical Museum in Prague.

The history of the Rosenthal manufactory dates back to 1879, when the now world-renowned company was founded by Philipp Rosenthal in Selb, Bavaria. Within just a few decades, the manufactory captivated the design world with interesting and rather traditional porcelain tableware, which is why such tableware is still offered today in the Rosenthal Tradition edition. However, through the Rosenthal Studio-Line, the company has intentionally created a counterpoint in recent decades to attract younger people to porcelain in its versatile designs.
