Jan Padrnos The Czech designer Jan Padrnos (*1967) initially explored the fields of mechanical engineering and architecture before dedicating himself to product design. In 2000, he founded the company Blackbox s.r.o. as an exclusive manufacturer for his designs, which range from furniture design to glass gifts and interior projects. His designs are represented in the Museum of Art and Design in Prague, the collections of the Moravian Gallery in Brno, and the National Technical Museum in Prague.

Rosenthal The history of the Rosenthal manufactory dates back to 1879, when the now world-renowned company was founded by Philipp Rosenthal in Selb, Bavaria. Within just a few decades, the manufactory was able to excite the design world with interesting and rather traditional porcelain tableware, which is why such tableware is still offered today in the Rosenthal Tradition edition. Through Rosenthal Studio-Line, however, the company has deliberately set a counterpoint in recent decades to attract younger people to porcelain in its versatile designs. Choosing porcelain tableware or other items from the Rosenthal Studio-Line edition thus represents a commitment to the highest quality that the German manufacturer Rosenthal has been providing for over 100 years, as well as to continually new and creative ideas.
