I would advise not to buy this table, it only has one motor for the height adjustment. This reduces the maximum lift capacity and the height adjustment takes much longer. A single motor on an adjustable table also is stressed more because it needs to do the lifting all on it’s own. I would only recommend and buy a table with a dual motor setup. This one has a lifting capacity of 80 kg and also has a dual motor setup. Seville Classics Airlift (121 cm)

They may also be identical, you can see it clearly from the black motor that can be seen at the back outside the legs. Unfortunately, this is not recommended, because tables with a single lift motor have various disadvantages. The carrying capacity is limited, they can only be adjusted very slowly and the one motor is exposed to higher loads. I therefore recommend a model with two lift motors integrated in the table legs. This model can also be supplemented very easily with a table top, as it can be attached stably without screws. https://www.digitec.ch/search?q=fellowes%20levado The Fellowes Levado concept is more expensive, but in return you get a stable construction that can also withstand something.

The problem is, this height-adjustable foot has only one lifting motor (it is in the black cylinder at the back right). These tables are not really recommended because the load-bearing capacity is limited and it takes a relatively long time to adjust the height. Unfortunately, it can happen with cheap products with one lifting motor that such problems arise because they are not so stable. What you could do is check whether all the screws are tightened properly or retighten them. There is certainly nothing to be gained by re-oiling, because such lifting motors are usually maintenance-free. It might be possible to do something in the foot where there is no hoist motor, but that might not be so easy, as you probably don't have good access there either :(.

This black box at the back right is the lift motor for the table top. In general, height-adjustable tables with an externally mounted lift motor are cheaper to manufacture. However, they can also lift less weight, the Contini table can only lift 50 kg, tables with two lift motors can lift twice that or more. It is highly recommended to choose a table that has two lift motors integrated in the columns. These are more durable because the weight is distributed over two motors and the height can also be adjusted much more quickly. A similarly expensive model with two lift motors would be this table: Hammerbacher UPLINER-K desk, elec. adjustable,700-1200mm, WxD 1200x800mm, beech decor (120 cm)

Helpful answer

According to the supplier: The height can be adjusted by setting the desired height, then the "M" must be pressed and then the memory location (1 / 2 / 3) must be selected. To reset the settings, one must hold down "M" and "3" for about three seconds. When the table is received, however, no heights are set yet, the customer can select and set them himself.

How wide is this desk? 60 or 80 cm?

The width of the desk is 120 cm and the depth 60 cm. A depth of 80 cm would be more optimal, because a 28 inch screen would also fit well on the desk. If you want to keep to the rule of sitting one arm's length in front of the screen, 60cm is not enough depth for the desk.

They may have disconnected the power supply while the table was still moving up/down. ASR means it is no longer calibrated. Try the following: Press the down button until the table is down and then hold the button for a few seconds. The ASR message should disappear and you can raise the table again.
