Normann Copenhagen terra

Terra is a small table with clear references to southern craftsmanship traditions. Designer Simon Legald focused on the proportions of the solid terrazzo tabletop and the more delicate steel legs, creating an overall impression that is both elegant and rustic.

The inspiration for Terra came when he fell in love with the expressive material produced using traditional Italian methods during a visit to a small Italian terrazzo workshop. No two terrazzo slabs are the same - each has a unique mix of speckled stone, with its own shapes and a one-of-a-kind interplay of colors.

Terra can be used both indoors and outdoors. The legs are made of galvanized steel, and the tabletop has been treated with a sealant that allows the table to withstand wind and weather. The low Terra table is perfect as a coffee table, while the higher, smaller version serves well as a side table or for plants. The two sizes are also extremely attractive when combined.
